TEN WAYS TO IMPROVE SOCIAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN CHILDREN

Children who experience communication difficulties in social situations, such as those with autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, or other challenges, can benefit from some coaching to improve their social skills. Dr. Lauren J. Donnelly reviews strategies to help children learn how to choose appropriate friends, initiate conversations, and exhibit good sportsmanship and other relationship-building skills.
