This model supports victims\, builds community resiliency and fosters responder-to-responder peer support. \n  \nFacilitated By: Lisa Furst\, LMSW\, MPH\, Vibrant Emotional Health\n \n  \nThank you for your interest and registration!

SUMMARY:CANCELED: Brooklyn Borough Based Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:In light of the Mayor’s announcement that all NYC DOE Public schools are closed through April 20th\, at least\, CCSI has to cancel what would have been our BKBBC April 24th in-person meeting. We are aware of how schools closing impacts all families considering additional work and homeschool scheduling adjustments in the midst of social distancing mandates from the city in light of COVID-19. Please take care of yourselves! We know the transition out of quarantines will make it more challenging for people to come in person for April 2020. \nAs CCSI\, we are following the guidance of the Department of Health & Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) broadly. Here’s a Coronavirus fact sheet! And a Stop The Spread flyer.  In general\, if you are part of a vulnerable population\, you should be trying to create ‘social distance’ by greatly reducing how much time you have to be around large groups of people. \nWe will be in touch further this week and in the coming weeks to let you know what events and meetings have been cancelled and what creative alternatives to in-person BBC meetings will be available. Thank you so much for being a part of this community. We will find ways to stay connected! \n  \nBrooklyn Borough Based Council Co-Chairs\nMonique Lindsay\nFamily Co-Chair\, Parent Advocate \nEvelyn Pugh \nFamily Co-Chair\, Community Advocate \nSelina Lebron \nAgency Co-Chair\, NYPCC\, Community Outreach Specialist

SUMMARY:CANCELED - Brooklyn Borough Based Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:In light of the Mayor’s announcement that all NYC DOE Public schools are closed through April 20th\, at least\, CCSI has to cancel what would have been our BKBBC March 27th in-person meeting. We are aware of how schools closing impacts all families considering additional work and homeschool scheduling adjustments in the midst of social distancing mandates from the city in light of COVID-19. Please take care of yourselves!
