SUMMARY:CANCELED - Queens Borough Based Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:In light of the Mayor’s announcement that all NYC DOE Public schools are closed through April 20th\, at least\, CCSI has to cancel what would have been our QBBC April 20th in-person meeting. We are aware of how schools closing impacts all families considering additional work and homeschool scheduling adjustments in the midst of social distancing mandates from the city in light of COVID-19. Please take care of yourselves! \nAs CCSI\, we are following the guidance of the Department of Health & Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) broadly. Here’s a Coronavirus fact sheet! And a Stop The Spread flyer.  In general\, if you are part of a vulnerable population\, you should be trying to create ‘social distance’ by greatly reducing how much time you have to be around large groups of people. \nWe will be in touch further this week and in the coming weeks to let you know what events and meetings have been cancelled and what creative alternatives to in-person BBC meetings will be available. Thank you so much for being a part of this community.
