DESCRIPTION:Benefits & Entitlements: \nNavigating Government Systems \nApril 4th\, 2019\, 10am – 12pm \nLocation: UFT Building\, 19th Floor\, Room A \nTarget Audience: All public community members \nDescription: \nDoes trying to figure out government systems of support confuse you? Are you in need of some support in organizing all of the information and letters? \nYou’ve come to the right place! Attend this workshop to gain some clarity and empowerment towards advocacy! \nWe will be exploring how to access a variety of benefits supported by the government such as: SNAP\, WIC\, SSI\, FEPS\, SSDI\, DRIE\, and TANF. Additionally\, we will explore entitlements for persons with disabilities and how to access them as a caregiver and advocate.  \nFacilitated By: Gary Shulman\, M.S. Ed \nCoffee and tea will be served upon arrival.  \n  \nNote: Please be sure to arrive on time for the workshop.
